The UK has the world’s fastest growing vegan population. A generation who’s aware of their impact on the planet. And although 2021 saw further expansion of Subway’s plant-based menu, the brand’s true commitment to a plant-based future was not on the radar of this growing community.

So on Earth Day 2021, Subway took the celebration of veganism into a completely new space - The UK Grime music scene. Subway created the first ever plant-based grime track, made with low frequency sounds extracted from the plants on Subway’s plant-based menu.

The track ‘Vegang’ was written by notorious vegan grime music artist P Money and produced by vegan producers Star.One.
